April NEWS
Upcoming Gatherings
Luke 24:32, KJV: And they said one to another, did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?
Doesn’t this happen when we gather together and share with one another? Does our heart not burn within as we witness Christ in each other’s lives through our sharing?
We are getting ready for another exciting BBWE Gathering this month which will be held on Saturday, April 20th at Corinth Baptist Church at 15816 Moore Street, Hosford FL 32324 at NOON (Eastern).
Bring your favorite dish to share. Bring a friend or someone who you are hoping to sponsor for a future Walk.
We have created a new way to have a Gathering. We are having a wonderful time getting reacquainted with each other. Sharing time, lots of music, fun and communion. A great time of remembering your Walk.
The Board meeting will be immediately following the Gathering. You are invited to attend. We are also looking for interested Community members who have a desire to join the Board.
Also, mark your calendar for May 18th at NOON for our next Gathering which will be held at Grace Lutheran in Tallahassee.
We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces.
If you know of someone who may not be getting these emails or see it on Facebook, please feel free to forward or give them a call with the information. We are trying to reach out to as many members of our community as we can.
DeColores!

BOARD MEMBERS ARE STILL NEEDED
To work with the Board in a support position requires no experience.
You would be asked to assist a board member in their area of responsibility and work as a team to fulfill the mission of Big Bend Walk to Emmaus. All that is required is simply a heart for Emmaus and the Big Bend Community.
If you have an interest in serving with, or being on the Board, please email Ken Peacock (ken.peacock@gmail.com) with your contact information and how you would like to help. We are looking for 8 volunteers to be on the board next year, and we could use an unlimited number of volunteers to pitch in and help with Board-related activities (many hands make for light work).
