BBWE #53 and BBWE #54 completed

Congratulations to the men and women who have completed their 72 hour pilgrimage on BBWE #53 and BBWE #54.  Please welcome them to the community when you see them at the Gathering on November 14th at St. Paul's United Methodist Church.  Sponsors please have your pilgrims at the church on November 14th at 5:00 p.m. EST/4:00 p.m. CST for their orientation session.  The gathering will follow at 6:00 p.m.

Bethlehem Walk to Emmaus off to a great start.

Bethlehem Walk to Emmaus began in September with BWE #1 and in November with BWE #2. After more than a year of prayer, planning, and sweat, Bethlehem hosted their first two walks this fall. Congratulations to the leadership of that community, the leaders of both walks, the pilgrims making their walks, and to all who made it happen. There are now more opportunities to raise leaders in our churches which is what Emmaus is all about.

Lay Directors Announced for the Spring

Trey McNabb will lead the men on Big Bend Walk #55 on March 4-7th 2010 and Marcia Payne will lead the women on Big Bend Walk #56 on March 18-21st 2010. Please be in prayer for these as the journey has already begun to find will servants to fill these teams. Also be in prayer for pilgrims for these walks.

Chrysalis to Make a return!

In July of 2010, Chrysalis flights will again resume with a boys flight in the early part of July and a girls flight at the end of July. Both events will take place at Bethlehem Camp just north of Bonifay, Florida. Lay directors for these flights have not yet been chosen. Please be in prayer for these flights as planning begins again to resume the youth movement of Emmaus in the weeks to come.
