Welcome to The Big Bend Walk To Emmaus (BBWE) Our community serves members throughout South East Alabama, South Georgia, and the Eastern Panhandle of Florida.
The purpose of Emmaus is to renew the church as the body of the risen Christ in the world through the renewal of Christians as faithful and committed disciples of Jesus Christ. Emmaus lifts up a way for our grace-filled lives to be lived and shared with others.
Communities worldwide are a connected through Upper Room Ministries.
The goal of the Big Bend Walk To Emmaus Community is to inspire, challenge, and equip members for Christian action in their homes, churches, and places of work; expand spiritual lives, deepen discipleship, and rekindle gifts as Christian Leaders in our churches and communities. Participating in the BBWE Emmaus Community (or any other Emmaus Community) is not meant to take the place of our local congregations, but to enrich and strengthen them.
